Gorgones

Warty gorgonians, variable dimensions, 2025

Gorgonians belong to the coral family. They are small animals (polyps) that secrete a skeleton into which they have the ability to retract.
This bush-like skeleton is reminiscent of the branches of trees. Arranged on the wall in this way, they evoke a small winter forest, some of whose branches are still covered in white “warty flesh,” reminiscent of snow.
